They Might Gain The Whole World

This is Bret, Dillon, Christen, and Addie. Dillon and I have talked a while back with the other guy you can't see hidding behind them. I started to talk to at least six others besides these. Some heard plenty of the Gospel before they left laughing and joking. I the ones left had more to think on by the time we parted. I made sure
again they understood the Gospel even among
the loudness and phone calls and joking to one another. At times you feel like you are wasting your time but, God didn't put that in his word to stop speaking if they arent listening. Just keep talking and maybe at sometime in the future the Holy Spirit will move on one of them and cause them to bow the knee.
Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark...
Always give the Gospel to the perishing.

In Need Of A Savior?

I will not be the judge of anyone, God will. I can only evaluate the fruit dropping from the tree to taste it and touch it. Left to Right is Chrissy, Kourtney, Christina, and K-Jo. They claim to attend church but again, do not know what is meant by knowing the Gospel. This makes it easy for me to determine where to start my presentation; at the beginning! The questions: have you ever lied, have you ever stolen anything, and have you ever comitted adultery is a type of mirror that will show you a better image of the "real you" before a perfect and righteous God who will judge you by His higher standard. K-Jo seemed concerned. I continued with the Grace portion of the Gospel. They seemed to understand that with repentence and faith in Christ alone, God will see them as having Christs righteousness not their own. All their own righteousness is as dung (Phl 3:8 ) to God. After explaining justification, then asking again if they understood what I said, I thanked them as they hopefully thought about the Gospel.

Greg and Kristy

This is Greg and Kristy, wonderful people with a wonderful testimony. Thank you for talking with me Saturday night. Greg leads a Bible study in the Southlake courthouse building! Yes, in a government building at no charge either. Apparently the Mayor of Southlake Andy Wambsganss is a Mayor Andy Wambsganss Christian. After talking to Greg and Kristy, I exhorted him to include the Ten Commandments in his defense or wittness to others concerning the Gospel of our Lord. I think he will. We parted with hugs. Wow! Greg take this back to the church you attend, there aren't many there who know what you're teaching.
Act 2:28
YOU (Lord) HAVE MADE KNOWN TO ME THE WAYS OF LIFE; YOU WILL MAKE ME FULL OF GLADNESS WITH YOUR PRESENCE

Deby All By Yourself

I met Deby sitting by herself. She had to leave but, not before I explained some of the Gospel to her. Deby was confused about all the different religions and beliefs. This gave her the excuse not to attend any church but, to pray at home by herself and in doing so secluding herself from any solid food (doctrine). Deby in all her sincerity has broken the 2nd Commandment, worshipping a god of her own choosing and of course thinking about her conscience accusing or defending her in light of the 10 Commandments. She knew before long that there was only one place that she could read about the 10 Commandments; the true scriptures of our living God. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I hope this helps to narrow down the confusion.
2nd Commandment: You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

Andrew And Davy Knew A Little

These are two young men who again thought they knew the Gospel. Although they tried to articulate what was taught to them in church, they couldn't do it. Praise God for young men like this who are willing to listen to an old man like me. Both admitted to attending a class at church that possibly explained what the good news is. When put on the spot, they could not remember what to say. I think one day they will. I hope you guys read God's word more so if there is a real person who has 5 minutes to live, the Gospel is the last thing they hear going into eternity. Thanks Andrew thanks Davy.
2Ti 4:2
preach the word; be ready in season {and} out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.

Marijuana and the Gospel

Last post for the week, I think.
The most unlikely witnessing encounter happened tonight. I talked to 2 kids dressed to a T at Southlake Town Square. You say, and sooooo. Yep that's what I did, while they both shared a joint! I smelled it at a distance and looked around to see who it might be. It was two guys on a break from somewhere. They did not tell me their names or where they worked.
Anyway, I gave them the Gospel with a little more bite because sometimes I think people need to have the fear of God just as much as the love of God. Only the Holy Spirit can convict, not Ron. The Gospel on its' own has the power to save.
Rom 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Pro 9:10
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

I'm not quite sure I did the right thing in the above scenario but, I needed to wittness to others in a small amount of time so I didn't even bother to follow them. The Lord knows all their hiding places.

Another Ron post

No Knowledge No Christ

Emilia, Katlin, you attend Gateway Church in Southlake Texas but don't know that it is the Gospel that we need to know to be saved. In other words, if you know the Gospel and call yourself a Christian, then you will know that without it, there is no salvation. The Gospel includes what sin is, who we sin against, sin can't be forgiven without a just God to pardon, and His pardon will not come unless you have faith and repent.
No Buddist, Muslim, Mormon, Jehovas Witness, Catholic or whatever else is good enough to go to heaven on their own righteousness.
Read your Bible a lot more to test if you are in the faith.
Here is a very narrow definition of salvation, also make sure you have the right Jesus.
Jhn 14:6
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

More Meat Please

Vannia, Eric, Christina, Cynthia, and Rod, I can only hope you are truley Christians. My doubts are many with red flags waving. You must know the Gospel to be saved. Not one of you knew the Gospel even though each one of you attend a "church".
One church some of you attend is called "The Met". They don't preach a Christ centered Gospel but, a man centered gospel. Beware, a man centered anything will not save. Christ alone will save.

Act 17:30
"Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all {people} everywhere should repent,
Thanks for your time tonight at Southlake, have a good Christmas.
Ron

Taz, Not The Devil

Taz, this is for you. I will pray that Christ will open your eyes and ears and cause your heart to be made into flesh instead of the stone you have now. I hope I meet up with you again. We had a good chat without any of us convincing each other of our beliefs. At least you know your're not a Christian and don't pretend to be anything else.
I hope you find this web page even though now that I think about it I gave you the wrong site address.
See you again I hope, Ron

Meeting the smoking Emmanuel

Praise God, even I can post my own blog. Last night was cold to me so I had doubts I would even go out. The wind was blowing at about 30 mph making it seem like it was in the 20's at times. After deciding that since cold weather would never deter those who are in prison for Christ in China, North Korea, and in some of the Muslim countries, I bundled up and drove to South Lake Town Square.
Needless to say once I arrived at the fountain I noticed none of the other street fishers were there. In fact, there were few sinners enjoying the brisk weather. I knew right away few tracks were going to be given away. Let's just say, I had to think about plan B; concentrate on giving tracts out and not wittnessing so much.
Note: again I will add that I am glad the Gospel is a message that doesn't need eloquence of speech, good looks, or lot's of money. As the umpire would say, strike 3, you're out Ron, you have nothing. But Christ who will use an ass if needed can use me.
Enough blabbing. My highlight of the night was talking to a Korean kid, Emmanuel. Yes, Emmanuel. Of course I never know the background of anyone I talk to so my first question to him was, Do you attend church anywhere? Thinking he was going to say no, after seeing him suck on his cigarette like a slurpee, noticing the tats and ear signage too; he said, yes!
Ok let up on me for one second you Presbyterians, you would have
wondered too.
Emmanuel started to bare his concience to me before he knew who I was, ok.
After admitting to me he thought he was a Christian, I asked him if I could wittness to him as though he were a sinner. He said no problem.
I started by using the Ten Commandments. The 7th, 8th, and 9th are all you need in most cases and of course thats all I needed for Emmanuel.
He understood he was not a good person in the sight of God and a person destined to hell without a Savior. He understood that his sins are transgression of the Law. He understood the Law is a pointer to Jesus Christ the crucified
God. Yes he understood better the work that was done for us through Christ our Lord.
Justification is a big word but, all sinners know what it means after I explain it to them and Emmanuel too.
After only ten minutes of wittnessing I told him a story of how you could tell if you are saved. I'll relate the story another time.
In the end he asked for my name and thanked me. I thanked him for his time and to read the book of John.
Now I ask you, is the smoking Emmanuel saved from the wrath to come, from the one who is Judge of all things?
If anyone else sees this post let me know.
