Another Buffalo Festival

OK what can I say about this one. This is "SJ", short for something else. First my scheme was to stop her and her friend from chanting. The street was packed with people looking at them like "oh how holy they must be". I saw them as sinners in need of our Lord Jesus Christ. Yes she is still a sinner earning her wages of sin which is the cause of death. SJ was not going to budge. She swore off eating anything containing life (knowingly). I asked what about the cell life in plants that you eat with your lettuce? "Oh but I don't know it". You do now! You also know half the Gospel, the law part. No, I didn't tell her about the cross as I do others because her heart was hardened. I did say things about Christ but without the precision that I usually present. She accepts almost all concepts and religions except her sin against a Holy and Righteous God. I can only pray that SJ has her heart laid bare against the scriptures and that Hebrew 4:12 will slice open her flesh, soul and spirit, to prick her conscience to understand what a wretch she really is to Christ crucified. She will never know how much Christ did for the repentant sinner until she understands what sin is and Who she sins against.
Side note: I stopped them from chanting for over an hour. ?>) My scheme worked. Ok, maybe I left as friends, but not friends in Christ where fellowship takes place.

Mat 7:6
"Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

Niagara Niagara

I thought this was a great picture of Darrell and his wife Bernice. Bernice was in a hospital the day before this picture was taken. On the plane from Washington she ecountered a (TIA)transient ischemic attack. But here she is walking toward the Niagara Falls with her husband ready to witness for our Lord Jesus Christ. Praise God.

This is a picture of our group standing on the Rainbow Bridge to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. The plack in the center is the official line between the US and Canada. From the US side first is Mark Mews, Josh (the black), Ken Schleimer, Rachael Mews, Catherine Fusco, Tom Fusco, Elaine Barsness (Racheal's Mom), Mike Stinson, Amelia Smith. The Canadian side is Tim (not the toolman) Crawford, Bernice Warren, Jon Speed, Hans Brush (my 2nd pair of eyes), and Darrell Warren. Yes, I'm taking the picture on the road stopping cars to my right.

You can see in the background the Canadian side skyline, God has blessed that country too. Also straight back is the Canadian side of the falls.
This is Ken Schleimer open air preaching on the Canadian side. We found an area across a lot of eateries where there was lot's of people and traffic. Ken is was a school teacher, and now is flipping houses. Ken is good at this stuff. Even though he made it entertaining at times, Ken went straight for the meat of the Gospel, the Law then Grace. He never waivered in his message to sinners. People from all over the world heard the Gospel and Christ was exalted.

Here is the leader of the Ministers of Reconciliation team doing some open air preaching, Jon Speed. Many people heard the Gospel on that day through Jon and Darrel doing OA and the rest of us with one to ones. This is where I saw the hand of the Holy Spirit working in the mind and heart of a 92 year old man. On ths corner I sat down next to a man sitting in a motorized chair. I sat down next to him so as not to tower over him. I told him about the Law, how we break God's Law (transgress it). I told him this is the reason God must punish us by sending us to the lake of fire, Rev 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. I told him he has to have faith and repent. I reiterated that our sins cause us to have the wrath of God abiding on us daily and our sins condemn us to hell. I said that even after salvation in Jesus Christ we still sin. But a Christian who sins will not have a pattern of sin. In fact as time goes by a Christian should sin less and less and love the things of Christ more and more. A Christian will hate what Christ hates and seek everything Christ loves. He will love His word more and cherish it more. Christ justifies the sinner and makes him pure in the sight of God. The Holy Spirit lives in us and through Christ makes us righteous.
After about 20 minutes of talking with Louis Powell, 92 years old, 10 more minutes more than he said he had, this is what he told me: "you know, I believe what you said and I think I'll see you in heaven".
There are men who are content to talk to a few people in there life about Christ and call it good. But there is no way to express the joy of doing it God's way. To confront people on the street, where they hang out, where they get entertained, where they participate in sports, or in unGodly things (sin). You have to go out and participate in the work of God God's way, not the way it seems right. Our ways are not God's ways. He told us to go out out out. Where is out? You have to go out to find out where out is. Try the parameters of a local mall, a festival, picnic areas, down town. Out is anywhere people are. It's hard work, but it's reward is the refreshing thought that in obedience true joy is found in none other than Jesus Christ. Salvation is through Christ alone.

Niagara Falls Evangecamp

Let me introduce you to three of many new friends in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Tammy, Debbie, and Vickki. I praise God for ladies, true ladies in Christ who praise Christ by witnessing for Him. Charles Mckinney is their pastors name. This is the churches website: http://www.jesuschristbaptistchurch.org/If what came out of their mouth reflects the teaching from their pastor, then Charles, like Paul in the scriptures ought to be proud. Christ will not cut these ladies down because these ladies produce fruit for our Master. This is the scriptural discription of them: Psa 1:3
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. I met the three of them at Niagara Falls during the fireworks display. If I recall, I handed Tammy a tract, she asked what it was, I told her, then she promptly handed me a tract. I listened a little to her and she to me and we knew we were on the same page. The next thing I knew, I was facing all three of them, trading scripture for scripture as a witness to all of us. Praise the Lord for true brothers and sisters in Christ our Lord. I thank you pastor for teaching what is truly a worthy calling; being a witness for our risen Saviour Jesus Christ.
Please keep in touch.

Psa 1:6
For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Cops at My Church

Last Sunday I met Jeffrey Vogel Public Safety Officer for the City of Southlake. I think officer Jeffery thought he was going to have a normal Sunday patrolling Countryside Bible Church. Until he met with me in the lobby just as I came off ushering for someone who didn't show that Sunday. I would not have had the opportunity to meet officer Jeffery if I had not been ready to usher even though ushering was not my responsibility for that Sunday.
Officer Jeffery decided to walk through our lobby at the right time to meet with me. I saw him coming and had decided to stop him to ask if he was a Christian. So I did. As he was coming my way I held out my hand to shake his. I introdused myself and I was off to the races. No, I didn't say "you have a Jesus shaped hole in your heart that only He can fill, no, I didn't even say "you need Jesus". What I did say (in brief) was clear and kind. Once I determined his lack of assurance and lack of knowledge a Christian should have of the Gospel, I led him through the good person test. The test can be found on an earlier blog showing my tracts. After taking officer Jeffery through the Ten Commandments, we headed straight for Grace. He understood his shortcomings and need for Christ to save him.
Psa 84:11
For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.
Our chat lasted the whole of the service. I thought my pastor was long winded.
I just want it to be known, that I think some brothers in the Lord at my church ought to stop thinking that everyone in our church doors is a Christian, if that's what they think. I would also like to see our flock flock to those they haven't met yet to ask if they are saved. What a grand opportunity to witness inside our church doors.

Psa 28:3
Do not drag me away with the wicked And with those who work iniquity, Who speak peace with their neighbors, While evil is in their hearts.
Officer Jeffery, I am praying for your salvation and your whole family.

Keller Fest 2008

From left to right is Pastor Ted, my mom Sarah, Ted,Ted's wife Linda, and Pastor Jason from http://www.fbcjustin.org/n.org/. Ted pastors http://gbctx.com/ Garner Baptist Church. I love these pastors for being an example to their flock in witnessing for whom they preach, Christ Jesus.

My mom and Linda sat and chatted the whole time. My mom really likes Linda. This is my mothers first taste of evangelism with the intent to evangelise. I brought her along to help with any Spanish.

I was surprised to see how busy it was at the http://www.kellerfest.com/. Keller is not known for anything considered big time. They chased away Wal Mart, and other big time retailers by their snobbish ways.

This was a good venue for a beginner streetfisher to practice. Not too many people showed their colors like we did. I believe Christ was glorified at all times here because everything we did was for Him and He works through His laborers to achieve His outcome.

If you click on this picture to the left you'll notice the intent look on the young man to the right. I talked to them like everyone else (I never change my Gospel presentation for anyone) giving them the Law and then walked them through Grace. I praise God for His conviction on these two young men. I pray for their Salvation in Christ alone. There are some in my church who disagree with doing this kind of presentation but it beats their not doing it!

Their is no other ministry that counts as much as evangelism. Even if all pastors and teachers left the church, evangelism would still continue. Pastors and teachers need a formal setting to do ministry while evangelists only need a street corner, a sidewalk, a concert, a festival... or a little corner bakery. For you touchy feely types, yes I know we need all ministries in the church.

Evangelists don't operate within church walls most of the time. Is that clear?

Here again, I stopped a couple of ladies to say the indentical message Christ our Lord said while alive here on earth in the flesh. The Law and Grace.

2Ti 4:5
But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

The more you do the work of the Lord the more sober minded you become. Yes, lauging and joking are done among friends but, you realize that the message you share is eternal life if they repent, or damnation if they refuse it. It's that simple.
Say Hi guys. more people whose names I wrote down but lost my paper. Very friendly to chat with and wer very polite to me. I hope they understood the Gospel.
Always ask if they know the Gospel. If they say yes, then ask them to explain it to you. If they can't then you treat them as though they know nothing. Most of the time these kinds of people are either false converts or would be Christians. Either case, if you add any word to Christian, more than likely it's not.
Thanks Jon Speed and Tim Crawford for getting everything organized.
Thanks mom for coming, I love you.
