Caught in the Act Sunday Sodomy

I was thinking about the phrase "caught in the act". It is easy a phrase that everyone has heard. It is a phrase that is always used in the negative sense. I was thinking about who this could be linked to in the spiritual sense. When I first thought about it, the picture I thought of was those who proclaim Christianity but are sorely lacking any knowledge of who "I Am" is. When the day comes to "cash in", those people will find out about the most egrigious error of their life. The "cash in" will turn into the realization of the utter debt to Christ. A debt so vast, it will take eternity just to come up short again. These people will be caught in the act of playing christian, playing church, playing God. Caught in the act will net them eternity with satan who is the god of their church, their christianity, their god.
This weekend though brought my attention not only to those false converts above but also the sodomites who claim Christ for themselves. Sunday was not quite right. Jon and I took off to the LGBT parade. The LGBT initials stand for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual. Thos terms are all a perversion from the normal perversion of normal sinners. Whatever normal is, it's not any of those terms.
We met up with some other Christians who love to witness and hold up signs. I don't like the signage thing unless you have to be in a place where you can't talk to anyone. Only then will I hold up a sign, a very specific sign. I don't even know what kind of sign it would be.
We get there about 2 oclock, just in time to set up. We changed up the place to do open air and decided to get right in their kitchen. We were within 50 feet of the master of ceremony. We were open airing right down their throat! One lady decided she was going to complain to the cops about ruining the parade. The cops came by, she complained, the told her we had the right to be there and couldn't tell us to move. Jon and I looked at each other and grinned. I turned it up and open aired!
Jon did his turn then mine then his then mine. Sodomites across the street heard clearly as well as those 5 feet from us. We did open air throughout the whole parade. The sods on the floats would stare at us as though they could not believe what they were seeing and hearing (hearing for sure).
As I started saying these folks will be caught in the act and probably literally. They claim to attend church they claim to have a relation with God and claim many other christian things. In the end they will claim Lord Lord, didn't we...Mat 7:22 "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?'
Mat 7:23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.
Jon and I talked to Thomas a church going sinner. The church he attends is not a church that is Christ's bride but is under Christ's wrath. It is a full tilt church of perversion.
Thomas was very cordial to us and listened to what we had to say. He learned he was a liar, thief and what jolted him into reality was that murder was pinned on him to by our Lord. Pray for Thomas. Jon had a conversation with the manager of the local hang out of sods on the parade route. He claimed a lot of things but in the end he was in the same position as the rich man. He needs to give up the things he wants to keep. I think his name was TJ.
Going to the parade was worth pulling our ox out of the ditch.

Blanketing the Truck Stop

Let me try to catch up on the trucking side of ministry. On the 17th I stayed home to comfort my wife who has tremendous migrains more often than not. Most of the time (if you meet her) she will have some pain in her head. Most of the time she can work through it but then there are those times that "crush" her head. At these times even touching her hair will hurt her scalp. Last week Thursday the 17th was one of those days.

Jeff Worthum who has been going out with me to the stop went out on his own. Praise the Lord, He works His infailing love in the lives of those who witness and testify of Him. Already Jeff has grown leaps in his short history of the "stop". No longer is Jeff getting laid out on rabbit ministry. I realize there are people out there that have the capacity to listen to peoples needs ad nauseum. I also know I need to be sensitive to the needs of sinners when they lay out their heart to you. Listen to what Christ instructed His Apostles to do as they went out without their Him, Mat 10:16
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. In Genesis Eve said to God, serpent beguiled me, and I did eat, Genesis; Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field. The word serpent could (ὄφις) be used as someone with sharp vision or sight. Paul speaking to the Roman church said it another way, "I want you to be wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil". I would say that in the way our Lord phrased it, we need to know at least a surface knowledge of who we might come into conversation with on the street. If you look at the way Paul phrased it, he not only confirmed what our Lord said but also pushed it further. Further, meaning (my thinking), don't waste your time reading articles about cults, atheists, Catholics or whatever it may be. I think to waste your time means to use "too much" time so that there is very little left to use on the Word of God, and prayer. If I had one hour to prepare myself for witnessing, I would use maybe, possibly, ten minutes tops to learn of the cult I might have dealings. I would rather use most of my time preparing my mind by the standard set be my Lord, His Word! His Word is Truth, theirs isn't, His Word separates bone and marrow, soul and spirit, theirs doesn't, His Word prevails long after the conversation, theirs doesn't, His Word commands all men to repent, theirs can't. His Word starts with righteousness and victory, theirs starts with dead men's thoughts. As soon as you know that the person no matter who it may be is dead in all things related to Christ, it becomes no contest.

If you prepare yourself in this way you will never lose the battle of the mind. God's Word triumphs every time.

If you notice in the Word of the Lord there is nothing in scripture that tells us to read about the Pharisee, Sadduces, or Beelzebub, or whatever the darling cult of the day.

All this to say, listen to people when they are sincere but as our Lord says, Eph 5:16
Redeeming the time, because the days are evil... Knowing because we are wise as serpents but not a serpent itself because Christ said Eph 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise...
How do you walk circumspectly, read God's Word, how do you keep from being the fool, pray, how do you become wise, read God's word and pray.
Back to the stop:
On the 24th I could not believe what was happening. Byron Porter had called the day prior to chat about ministry things and said he would come to the "stop" the next night. Not only that, he said he would bring a friend, David, who he had met from the church he attends. Think about it, approx. 4 weeks or more ago I was doing the Lone Ranger thing, now here were 4 well seasoned street evangelists ready to do the Lords work. I'm still amazed at what Christ does in the hearts of a few.

I have slept since that time so I have a vague memory as to who talked to whom. I know Byron talked to a man that took up most of his time. David had most of the conversations as though he had been there many times. Jeff had a few conversations and I had one with my first atheist; Barbara.

The biggest testimony though is that we covered at least 80% of the stop with conversation and tracting. Incredible eh?

I don't have any pics to look at for this blog. Maybe next time.

Fire Pit Truck or Saleem, Fire Pit Truck or Saleem

Here it is Friday night and not much to write so far. On Thursday I was suppose to celebrate with my son Caleb the removal of his braces after 2 years. I had planned on going home to help him gobble down a pizza. My plans seem to always change. The caps for my rotten teeth arrived at the dentist. They called me to ask if I would go in to have them installed. With hesitation I said I would. Did I say rotten? All this to to say I arrived home with a sore dead mouth. I couldn't eat pizza with my son and I had to bow out of my Thursday truck stop night. Did I say sore, you bet. This guy to the right has teeth just like mine so you don't have to imagine the rotteness of my teeth.
Again the Lord Jesus Christ works everything for his glory and will not share His glory with anyone. Did I say it's Friday night? Yes it's Friday night and My sovereign Lord had plans for a man named Saleem.

I arrived at the truck stop tonight because of the work done on my teeth yesterday. I arrived at about 10 after 7. Once I parked I spotted a truck with an open rear door and a small bar b q with the coals on fire. Not to break with my pattern on arrival, I prayed for divine appointments with plans in my head to talk to the trucker with the fire pit on fire. After praying, I get out, put my cowboy hat on, get my tracts, check for my keys, then locked the door and I'm off to the fire pit truck.

As I start walking toward the truck a man was walking toward me. I hand the man a tract and he hesitated, (oh no I'm thinking). Have you ever heard the old saying? He who hesitates gets the gospel. I'm still thinking about the fire pit truck when I told the man, "it's a gospel tract", have you ever heard the gospel? He says "no". When he said no, I thought, I'll get to the fire pit truck later. Saleem a Muslim entered my life. I had no plans of talking to him or giving him any part of my time. Did I say that my plans seem to always change? I did, right? My Lord wanted me to talk to Saleem not the fire pit truck man. So there I was talking to Saleem about the Law. He understood the Law but did not believe anything about Christ. Unlike the mormons and JW's who are trained in Christianese to trip you up, most Muslims are not trained that way.

You need to understand that the Muslim mindset is not interested in converting the non Muslim. They want to conquer with the sword by taking your head from your body. I realize not all of them use the sword but they have no interest in converting you unless you go to them.

So when I talk about God, my Saviour, without naming the name of Jesus, the Muslim talks about a god with some of the same attributes of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But know this; Unless the Muslim Saleem talks about God as Christ who came in the flesh, then it's not the
God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, it's satan Saleem is referring.
As much as it seems the Muslim, Saleem is talking about God Himself, it is only a god of their imagination. This puts them under the law like any other sinner, transgressors of the Law. The Muslim needs the Saviour Jesus Christ to be converted from Islam to Christianity. They need to repent, turn to Christ and give up everything they know about life. Islam is their life, so they must give up anything that reeks of Islamic belief.

Still thinking about the fire pit truck I noticed my friend Jeff and a good friend of his, John getting out of their truck. Praise God, He sent help. About 10 minutes later we were in Noah's territory, RAIN. A hard windy rain came in torrents. I lost track of Jeff while Saleem and I ran to McDonald's for cover. That's the first time my cowboy hat took on rain. Not to be long winded, Saleem and I parted after some more conversation about the Trinity. I think if anything happened in the flesh it was that Saleem met a Christian who was not backing down from his beliefs and was able to back up what he said. We parted with a handshake and a smile.

Saleem was as hard stony ground hearer as they come. Now someone needs to step up and keep tilling his ground with a sharp plowshare.

Friends in Christ are Gold to the Soul

Jeff to the right is kinda new in the faith. He like many of the saints is working out his salvation in the Lord.
Phl 2:12
So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling;

Jeff is ready to obey a little commandment our Lord left us before His acsension to Heaven:

Mat 28:19
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit...

This is a call to all saints. If Christ be the Groom then we must be the bride, right? If this is true then we should be opening our mouths to warn people about the wrath to come and salvation in Jesus Christ.

So, all this to say is that Jeff is another nugget of gold to my soul as the rest of my like minded witnesses I know. Men who have made a decision to proclaim Christ as often as we can.

Jeff went out again to the truck stop and was glad he did. Last week he fell into the trap laid out for rabbits. This week he witnessed to Anthony and Brian. Both he said were, to say the least, convicted and contrite. Covering the whole Gospel Jeff had great and gratifying conversations with these men.

I spoke with Benjamin, David, and Chester. Benjamin was polite to hold tight until I was done telling him about Christ. David was from the mighty Assemblies of God denomination. Hate to admite it but this was a conversation that I had to end at the Law. This man had so much pride and self righteousness that the word salvation was just another term like mowing the lawn. He admitted to lying but not much more. After telling him he was guilty in all points according to Christ, I asked him to read 1 John and bid him good bye.

Chester was my man for the hour. He was hardened, leathery, and crotchety. Kinda like the man to the left only with a tatoo on his neck he wished he didn't have. Chester claimed to have read his Bible 3 times through. Maybe he did. He said the last time he attended a church was when he was a teen. He has driven a truck for 20 years. Chester didn't know the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. I let Chester know with vivid words that without Christ his eternal fate would be hell. I took him through the Law, then to the Cross. Again he would try to tell me he sought God. I pulled out my Bible to show him Romans 3:10 and down.

RUGS; there is none righteous...none who understands...none who is good...none who seeks for God. Pointing out that none is zero, notha, nothing, zippo. Toward the end Chester says he prays. I couldn't let it go, God's word must be told, even if it hurts. I turned to:
Jhn 9:31
"We know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him.

Jhn 9:32
"Since the beginning of time it has never been heard that anyone opened the eyes of a person born blind.

Do you see this, do you understand this? Just as it has not been heard "anyone opened the eyes of a person born blind", "God does not hear the sinner".

Pro 10:32
The lips of the righteous bring forth what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked what is perverted.

How does God answer the wicked man if he calls out to God? I don't know in light of these verses. But God is just and He will answer those He has called to Himself as the publican called out to Christ.
Luk 18:13
And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as [his] eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

Chester at the end of our conversation said he used to call on a preacher while on the road. He said he would ask his preacher questions and to pray for him. Chester said that that preacher is dead. Chester said also that maybe I could be like the preacher he called. I told him Chester, maybe I can. You better be ready for answers you may not like. I would never give you fluff to feel good about yourself.

Chester was convicted, he said thank you for taking time to talk with him. God is working on Chester and I hope I get to see him in Heaven.

1Cr 15:58 Another way of saying it: My mother sent wrote this one to me. I needed it.
So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and steady, always enthusiastic about the Lord's work, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.

Blood Tracts

<><><><><><><><><><><>><><><><><>
This is the tract I hand out most of the time, the blood tract as it's called in certain circles. As you see it's the theme from the Red Cross blood drive. That's why I like it. It's not offensive, not too gimmicky, maybe a 3 out of 21 on the gimmicky scale. The sinners that most willingly take these tracts consider themselves to be good people. In their minds any thing that will possibly make them feel good about themselves is something worth taking: Even a gospel tract.
The reactions of some are "thank you", "I don't need one I'm a Christian", "I gave already", to no comment at all. Most people I hand this to, I will say, "it's a gospel tract". I hand it to them as though I'm giving back something I took from them. The statement I use when handing it out is "here you go". I have given up the statement "did you get one of these? or "would you like one of these?" Those last two statements are garaunteed to cause one to ponder " post trib, pre trip, lapsarian, 10-20 toes on the woman that rides the beast scenario. If you want to give tracts away just say "here you go, this is a gospel tract". Can you say it "here you go..., I knew you could. At any one time when I have time I will give 3 or more. When there are groups of people I'll hand out about 10 or more to 2 or 3 of them in the group. Hopefully you are asking why give out more tracts than the number of people? Good question. Great question. Fantastic question! Check this out, I noticed if I give one tract to one person who doesn't want the tract then the next thing that will happen is the boapip resolution. You hand it, they see it, they throw it down, you see it, you resolve to "bend over and pick it up" to use it again. I know this doesn't happen most of the time. If someone is going to throw the tract to the ground it's easier on their conscience to throw 1 to the ground than 3 or more. One is not littering, 3 or more becomes littering and more obvious to others if they decide to boapip you. I for one am not going to be boapiped by anyone. Now you still might say, "what a waste! No my honest good brother friend, it's not a waste. Think about it. At this point the target sinner has more than one tract in their possession, not wanting to boapip you they will put it in their pocket, or, or, or giiiiiiive it to a friend. Huh!!!!!! I see it over and over. The friend says "what's that?" Now the friend will be willing to befriend the other with a tract. Do you see the genius of this thought? I don't think you do. Think about it again. "Friend giving a tract to a friend" Can you see it, viola! Friendship evangelism<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>>>><>>><><><><><<>
Besides why are youuuuuu trying to conserve tracts? To give them out after you have that last heart attack? To give them out only to JW's! Cmon, don't be tight, give them out tonight.
