More Sundance Square Gospel

To the left, the one standing tall is my long time friend Brad Snow (the Snowman) cool huh?
Brad's claim to fame is his talent of writing the famous website of http://wayofthemaster.com/
but, his bigger talent is open air preaching. It is hard to answer flying questions from people who do not even want to hear what you have to say. Brad is up to the task. Brad you did a great job out there.
Notice the little bickering among the listeners, nervous laughter is a good thing. Also notice in the background the teens in black shirts. I spoke to them for about 30 minutes. They tired me out so much I led them back to Brad so they could listen to him. Hey, after a while those teen's stopped their mouths and started to listen to Brad's preaching. A miracle!

Rom 10:8
But what does it say? "THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART"--that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,

Hey, that's my son, Caleb!

This is the first time technically that he has handed out tracts. He did it one other time while I was directing him, but this time it was all on his own. I praise my Lord for His work in my son. The great thing about this, he has no idea of the background of the people to whom he is handing the tracts. Here he is giving tracts to Muslims. We pray for their salvation.
Look at him in the next picture, almost like he's a veteran at doing this. He's taking charge. Praise the Lord. Never be timid when doing this, this is God's Word! People need the Word of the Lord. So get out there and do it!
Psa 119:111
I have inherited Your testimonies forever, For they are the joy of my heart.

Luk 15:10
"In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

Ask, how a person repents? He hears the Gospel, faith comes, he repents and turns to the living God, Jesus Christ our Lord for salvation. My son is doing the very thing it takes for a sinner to repent, obeying his Lord by handing out tracts with the Gospel printed on them. Yes, later he will have the maturity in Christ to present the Gospel with his mouth, and hand out tracts.
For those who choose not to do this, you will never know the joy of doing exactly what Christ died for, to save the perishing.

West End Dallas and a Meeting with Jason

This is Jason. I met him just outside the West End proper. He was sitting on a bus stop bench with nowhere to go. Jason will perish without God's mercy and grace on his soul. There are many like Jason in this area, just hanging out, doing nothing, waiting for tomorrow to bring another day. He has no job, and nothing to do is not what our Lord wants of anyone.
1Th 4:11
"...and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you..." See, this is just one verse of many concerning work. Jason needs Christ first and His righteousness. Jason needs to have the miricle of sight and hearing to understand the Word of God. Without the Holy Spirit's working in the heart of Jason, he will perish. I pray that like me, God will cause Jason to hear again, and see again and do mighty works in the Lord.
Gal 1:4
"...who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father..."

Back in the West End

This is Tim and Clay. I met them in the West End of Dallas on Friday night. They were taking photos of the area for a project of some kind. These guys are special. I handed them a tract and they knew what it was right away (maybe because I told them). They quickly informed me that they were Christians and attended a church in Hurst, Texas. I asked them if they could explain the Gospel to me. They were up to the task. I liked what they said, maybe stumbling a bit but, in the end I think that the virtual Uncle Joe in the scenario I gave them might have understood their explaination of the Gospel. The Uncle Joe of my scenario was a man dying with 10 minutes to live. I asked them what would they say to him? Tim and Clay tried their best, I liked that. They were never rude or impolite to me. They must have good parents that reared them in the Word.
All I asked of them is that they include the Law of God within the Gospel next time. If a Christian is to proclaim the true Gospel, it must include the Law; the 10 Commandments. Those perfect commandments show us our true hatred against a Holy God, and why God must punish us as sinners and send us to a place He made for the devil and his angels; hell, the lake of fire.
Although the Law will not save, it will show us the why the Cross and Christ's sufferings had to take place. We are all transgressors of His Law and He must punish us with His pure and Holy wrath. But God will save us from Himself, to bring us to Himself. He is the only Savior. Praise God for His Law and His Cross.
Thanks Tim and thanks Clay for your attention for the cause of Christ our Lord.

Jhn 19:17
"They took Jesus, therefore, and He went out, bearing His own cross, to the place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha."

Fruit Form the Past

Take a look at this story of faithfulness to witnessing. Our Lord knows where everyone is at all times.
Yes, hello. Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. It has been a very busy week. The story I told your Mother took place about 6 years ago. I was with a group in Orlando, Florida, witnessing. Our group paired up and then we dispersed. We returned later that evening to share within our group whatever had happened that day. One man in our group was at a park when a man approached him and asked if he had been there the day before witnessing. He said, "no", and asked why. The man said, "Well, yesterday someone came into the restroom here and began talking to another man. I happened to be in one of the stalls in the back. I was listening to the conversation. I heard the man share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I believed in Him. The man never knew I was even in the room. So I came back today to see if I could find him, because I just had to tell someone what happened."

Pretty encouraging. You never know who will hear and who will believe. We may never even see the fruit until we gather together on that great day on Heaven's shores. Press on brother!

Texas Motor Speedway

Hey, I'm hoping my friends from Seattle post a comment. Are you out there? I was glad to meet you.

Gary the gate keeper, at Blue Ox, where are you today? Have faith and repent, Christ will rescue you.

To my other friend on "The Road to Emmaus." This thing you are involved in will be your road to the Lake of Fire. You will perish there. You will perish because of your sins. You said you would never repent. The repentance you say you will have will do nothing but point you in the direction heading straight to hell. Please read the book of John before too long. Think about it, God is merciful.
Jhn 3:19
"This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.

More Big Texas Weekend

Just for your curiosity, there are too many pictures to put on the blog without filling it up. Again, this is here for those that have a bad perception of street evangelism. Maybe you would see that no one here has gotten beat up, died, or even arrested. I would hope that those who have no desire to obey Christ who died for the masses to at least have a willingness to try baby steps. Try passing out a tract, I guarantee you will live through it. People love to engage the brain, even if to hear themselves talk.

Get out of your easy lifestyle, and into the labor our Lord has called us to do. Isn't it interesting that the goats called Christ, Lord?

Here to the right is my friend Mike and his mother. Mike, you know, even when I used to do the thing that you do, I would never cuss and drink like that in front of my mother. You said yourself that you would be a better person and do good for people. Begin with your own mother. Mike and I had a long half hour conversation about the Gospel and other things of temporal importance. We talked about fables from the Scriptures, men writing the Bible not God, being a good person, and other issues from a sinner's mind.

Mike, in the end, I hope you understood that the lake of fire is not a fable. Your goodness does not surpass that of Saul of Tarsus, and you will never be good enough for God on your own terms.

God's righteousness is what makes us "good". It is His justice that clears us from our trespasses; lying, adultery, murder, stealing, coveting, disobeying our parents, worshipping the god of your own choosing, not worshipping the True and mighty God, and never keeping the Sabbath. We can do nothing to please Him, Mike. Only in Christ can we fully please Him. Have faith and repent Mike.

Psa 98:9
"Before the LORD, for He is coming to judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with equity. "

OK men, this lady is doing the heavy lifting. Notice her husband. He wants to get out of there. She is willing to talk. That is what I am there for, to talk! I bet you her husband is listening to every word we are saying. Watch out! The ones who have a wandering way about them are really listening.

Jhn 12:25
"He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal."

I signed this guys shirt with my name and gospeltotheperishing.blogspot.com as he watched me! I asked him to take his shirt off so I could write on a hard surface.

Jhn 14:19
"After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you {will} see Me; because I live, you will live also."

Big Weekend Big Evangelism Big Texas Motor Speedway

Take a look at those ankles, wew! Good thing the Gospel has no preference for dress. This is Jon doing the thing he loves best, handing out tracts and talking to people about the Lord. Jon is somewhere close to where I am in this picture, but nowhere close to giving the same person a tract. We could have been 5 feet apart and never approach the same person. I've never seen so many people in one place in my life.
Psa 24:1

'The earth is the LORD'S, and all it contains, The world, and those who dwell in it.
'

Big Weekend Big Evangelism Big Texas Motor Speedway

This weekend went as fast as the Samsung races. A gazillion people to witness to, and a handful of people trying to talk to as many people as possible. Jon, Tim, Jimmy, Chad and I were up to the task, and my son, Caleb, was right there by my side. Praise God for His many blessings. He chooses fallible people for His perfect task, evangelism on the front lines.
This man wearing the goat refused a track. I had to talk him into taking one. He told me "do I look like I need God?' I told him that Judas had to point out who Jesus was with a kiss. The officials could not even identify who Jesus Christ was that night in the garden!

Here to the left are what you can count on sometimes. Roll of the eyes as soon as you tell them about the Gospel. Fine with me. There are many men and women that rolled their eyes at my Lord and then crucified Him?
Don't ever stop proclaiming the Gospel, even if they roll their eyes, fidget, talk too much or whatever.

Psa 33:8
"Let all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him."
