No Jack and the Praying Buddists

I drove inside the Buddist campus tonight thinking as always I'll come away without talking to someone about Christ. NOT! This time I parked next to a kid who drove off as soon as I stopped my engine. He pulled next to the "Buddist dorm" and went inside. I got out of the truck and headed in the same direction. No one was in sight, so I assumed it was ok to walk inside the dorm. I opened the door and saw the kid laying on the couch just inside. I asked if anyone could let me inside the temple. He said the monks are inside praying and that I could go inside if I wanted. Ron: you mean while they are praying? Kid: yes Ron: right now? Kid: yes, it's ok, Ron: can you take me in? Kid: no, I don't want to go in, Ron: come on, just go in with me, Kid: nah, Ron: ooohkay. So I went inside, after taking off my shoes.
Here are the pictures I took after going into the temple. I noticed some lack of concentration on some but I understand. They have to stay in that position for at least an hour. Also, do you notice the girls cell phone on her prayer sheet? I think that is Long Pooh front center, he is the head monk.
After leaving the temple, I hunted down the kid again, laying on the couch waiting for someone in the pictures. His name is Jack. I asked him if he had heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He said NO, I said never, he said no. I said I know you've heard of Jesus before, they speak about "Him" in the temple. He smiled and said yes. I know you've heard about the ten commandments before, he said yes. But you've never heard the
Gospel of Jesus Christ, NO, he said. Once I took him through the Law, he saw he was a lying, thieving, adulterer period, not just in the heart either. I told him those are sins that separate us from God. This is why we deserve His wrath. I told him that, we are sinners and can't take the sin away from ourselves. We are Lawbreakers and we deserve hell (he knew about hell). Then I took him to the cross of our Savior. I told him that His suffering on the cross, His punishment from God for our sins satisfies the wrath of His Father in Heaven forever if we have faith and repent. The love of Christ will fill us with His Spirit and give us eternal life.
All Buddists understand the Ten Commandments. They think they can keep them until confronted by the full light of the Law and the Gospel.
No picture of Jack, he seemed afraid. He said he never uses a computer, so he never sees the internet either. Strange I thought. Pray for Jack.

Luk 18:42
And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.

Cross Timbers Church Attender

All churches have people inside it's doors from sinners to solid true Christians. Churches, meaning Christ centered. Few anymore are Christ centered. I was out at Southlake tonight and I met Edward at Christ's appointed time. I went to a group of guys 6-8 to give out tracts. Two left right away, others lingered until I started to ask questions then more left until two were left. After a few more questions Edward was the only one who stayed. He and the friend who took off said they attended Cross Timbers in Argyle Texas a church that I once made a visit during the week. My visit there left me wondering who were the Christians. I was there about 30 minutes and saw many people and not one of them asked me if I knew the Gospel or if I was a Christian, or asked why I was there. So while talking to Edward I was not surprised again to find out he didn't know the Gospel.
Thank you Eward for staying, I hope the message of Christ turned your mind toward Him and He has saved you. Edward if you read this I hope you understood the Law of God, the reason He died to pay your debt you could not pay. Edward please read the book of John in the Bible. There you will find the words of life in Christ Jesus. Remember it's His righteousness that we are given so that our sins are forgiven. It's His Law that convicts, and His mercy that allows us to fall at the feet of Jesus to have faith and repent. Cry out to God to save you from His wrath to come and the eternal place of Hell and He will grant you life eternal.

Luk 18:13
"But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, the sinner!'
Luk 18:14
"I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."

TxRM Team Training

Today I went to the TxRM Training at the Texas Motor Speedway. Texas Alliance Raceway Ministries is the name to the acronym. They have a nice solid footprint at the speedway. Their ministries include a variety of volunteerism. Tent set-up, Coffee delivery, Chapel services, Information services, Evangelism, Prayer, Children's activities, Night shift, and others.
My buddy Tim on Right is suppose to send me the names of the gentlemen in the center. But I think Roger Marsh and Tony Edwards are their names. Jon is on the left. Roger Marsh is the guy in the blue I think. They have allowed us to give the million dollar tract during race day and use the Law in our presentation of the Gospel. I will be volunteering for the Handicapped Transportation & Camp Ground Courtesy Patrol, the HTCGCP. I picked this because they get to ride the golf cart type transportation from the camp site to the track. But! There will be one driver and one shot gun rider. The shot gun rider has the biggest responsibility, to witness as we take the passengers to and from the track! They can't jump off, although they might want to. I will have the perfect audience. Also when they get bored waiting for the yellow flag to change to green they'll need something to read and I'll make sure I suggest reading the tract. What a great way to give the Gospel! I have my eye on something else once that is done for the day. I'll write about it later.
Gal 6:10
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all [men], especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Last Night

No pics this time, just a word pic. Yes boreing, but still an update. I spoke to Hunter and Justin. They were about 15 years old. I gave them the commandments and the message of the cross because in my estimation they are perishing. The message of the Gospel is foolishness to those who are perishing. God's word not mine. Praise God.
Although they seemed like fool hardy kids acting fool hardy, I noticed some of the questions were curious enough to me that I answered them is a serious tone.
One question, so you think because we don't know the Gospel, we're going to hell? At this point I need to say, I asked at the beginning if they go to church. They did! One to Fellowship the other to St. something ( I forgot.) What do you think my answer should have been? These are well mannered clean looking kids.
We'll never know if I don't get any comments

Like Minded Friends

This top picture is a new friend in Christ, a brother who is starting to catch fire for wittnessing. This is Chris who I met last week at the Mardi Gras Fest in Dallas.
Chris, just from what I hear from you, you sound like a true brother in Christ. Keep up the work of an evangelist and I guarantee your life will change and you'll never look back. I'm glad you enjoyed listening to Tom this weekend. Come on back our church will challenge your thinking with deep theological doctrine.
Brian thanks for making the giant effort in spending the long weekend to listen to some of the giants of our faith. Thank you for coming out this weekend to pass out tracts with Jon and I. We will call you a friend of ours from now on. I hope you keep it up and next time we see you maybe you'll be dragging us out there. Keep in touch. Let me know about your church too.
Pro 18:24
A man of {too many} friends {comes} to ruin, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Jay and Dennis I look foward to seeing you out there again. I'm glad you're out there. Feel free to comment here about your plans for a church. I'm glad to make new friends
Psa 33:21
For our heart rejoices in Him, Because we trust in His holy name.

Big Jon

Jon Speed is giving a practical lesson on the Gospel. Using the Law of God i.e. the Ten Commandments, he proves to those he talks to that they are lying, thieven, adulterers at heart. That all liars and adulterers will have their part in the lake of fire. Sometimes they laugh a little because they get uncomfortable listening to what they are admitting. Jon is really smooth at wittnessing. He will put people at ease even though he tells them of the wrath to come and they won't escape it by any means. Jon will give them the means; Christ and His righteousness alone after having faith repentance.
Act 17:30
"Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all {people} everywhere should repent,

Not so sure about the Gospel?

This is Cheryl who attends at times a Baptist church in Justin. I pray that Cheryl returns to church with her husband to hear the word of God. God's word is life to thirsty dying people. We cannot on our own muster up the righteousness God requires for salvation. I don't know if you are saved from the wrath to come. Your testimony raised red warning flags to me. Someone who calls Christ Lord needs to realize that nothing on earth should keep them from hearing the word, fellowshipping, loving the things Christ loves and shunning things christ hates. Even sleep or a day off of work will fade compared to the message of salvation of Jesus Christ.
Not knowing the Gospel is a sure red flag that you may not be saved. If I asked a carpenter to build a small box and 3 hours later the box he built looks like a kid did it, I would have to say he is not a carpenter at all but a thief and a liar because now he wants me to pay him!
Cheryl, please read through the book of 1st John and see if you are a Christian. Also listen to the sermon I have posted to the side on topof this page. Is he talking about you? Thank you for your time and your attitude. I hope you comment to this post and let me know if I can answer anymore question. Thank you again.

Preachers Kid? Which One?

I blew it I didn't write down the name of the pretty girl who didn't even want her picture taken. Maybe Christen? If not comment to let me know who you are. Kevin and Anthony are the dude guys. Thanks for your time and giving me just a hair over my 5 minutes to tell the story of how much God changes our minds and hearts. The mack truck is nothing compared to the power of God. Please let what I told you sink into your hearts. Mr. Preachers Kid you need to know the Gospel, not because your dad is a pastor, it's because the Gospel is the power of God unto Salvation I won't say which one you are I don't want to embarass you. Please read the scriptures and use them for your standard to know if you are saved. All three of you listen to the "How do you know" sermon on this page. Maybe that might be a help. Remember the commandments, they always condemn, but Christ has paid a high penalty to save us from the wrath to come; His Father. Psa 102:10
Because of Your indignation and Your wrath, For You have lifted me up and cast me away.

Be Ready To Give The Gospel

Ok, I might spell your names wrong but hello Elaina and Amber. Thank you so much for allowing me to present the Gospel to you last night. I hope you are christians, and because you were nervous you were not ready to tell me the things about the Gospel. The most important thing to know and live is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Nothing else matters, everything pales in comparison to the riches of His word, the knowledge that we can have eternal life if you have faith and repent. Turning to Christ and trusting in Him to save you from the wrath of His Father. I hope you have done this already. The Law does not save but it points to the cross. Psa 125:1 Those who trust in the LORD Are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever.

Mardi Gras Definition: All Out Blitz to Sin

If I heard their names like I thought, this is Adolfo and Shalamar. The music was really loud and my hearing is lacking. They are holding up the Spurgeon tracts I gave them. Yes they kept them and I hope they are going to read them today as a reminder of what I told them yesterday. In light of what the Holy Spirit can do in the hearts an minds of the sinner Adolfo and Shalamar are no different. I spoke to them about the Law and then Grace through Christ alone. Rom 3:19
Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God;

Did you notice what the Law does, it shuts their mouth. The Law also convicts them of their sin because their conscience bears withness. God makes this happen to everyone through the conscience (con=with science=knowledge).
So Adolfo and Shalamar have knowledge of their sin except now they know also who they sin against and that the wrath of God abides on them continually. They've sinned against a living and holy God who does not tolerate any sin at all, notha, zero. But Christ will justify the ungodly in that while they continue in their sin Christ has paid the heaviest price of all, the punishment of His Father on Him. Now if we have faith and repent we will have eternal life. No mystery, no allah, no joseph smith, no Pope, no mary baker eddie (christian science), you fill in the blank_____________________. In Christ Alone through Faith Alone by His Word Alone we have eternal salvation.
Just a note: Shalamar must have shaken my hand at least 4 times while telling me he was glad I was telling him about these things. He was adament to let me know how thankful he was to me and the message I gave them. Pray for these guys that the Lord has mercy on their souls to allow His Holy Spirit to convict and radically change them as in the days of the New Testament believers.

Wahhoo My Own Tract

Here it is, my very own personalized tract. Thanks Way of the Master for supplying tracts for the last couple years but I am on my own now. This one has my web site on the back with one of the greatest preachers God has allowed to deliver the Gospel to the perishing. Im so glad I make this ministry personalized. Now it's easy to tell people where they can view their photos I take of them. Also to read what I wrote about them.
Yes, I know so far no one has responded but maybe the tract will change that problem. Also the tract is only a tool to get into the "personal space" of people so I can deliver the Gospel like Spurgeon did back in his time. If you want to learn more about Spurgeon go to: http://www.spurgeon.org/
He was on amazing man. The things he wrote about is still the same as if he were alive today.
But for now click on the picture to read what the Gospel is and how I use it on the streets when I present it to the perishing.
